They discussed how drivers and file system data can become corrupted. Someone suggested that improperly uninstalling software—like not using the correct procedure—might be a contributing factor since it doesn’t fully repair the registry. Your concern is whether installing AVG, not uninstalling it properly via the command prompt, deleting recoverable files in safe mode, and then trying a removal tool could lead to problems lasting three to four weeks. It’s a hypothetical scenario.

You'd install AVG just to have it on hand, even if you don't need it right now.

When the file system becomes corrupted, it typically occurs immediately. Yet there might still be hidden files you haven’t deleted or can’t remove. You could have used up a few MB of storage without realizing it. It’s wise to keep backups of important information.

Noted, I experienced two BSODs during startup and shutdown. The first involved NTFS, the second a CLFS.SYS thread exception. Both issues occurred after a week apart, and the HDD and RAM are functioning properly. I reinstalled the operating system.

Initially it detected a few windows files with issues. On the second attempt, no errors were found.

It seems reinstalling might have resolved the problem. If RAM were the cause, I wouldn't expect to run CS:GO for hours without issues. Also, it shouldn<|pad|> to fail a memtest.
