You're thinking about a 144Hz monitor, but want to check if your PC can handle it. Your specs are solid: a decent CPU, plenty of RAM, a powerful GPU, and a decent power supply. Overall, you should be good to go for a high refresh rate display.

Not feeling great, perhaps CS:GO or light esports, but I wouldn’t upgrade to a 1440p screen just yet. By the way, do you have one RAM module or two? And what’s your SSD configuration like? Those aspects seem more useful to consider than getting a higher monitor resolution.

It varies by game. CS:GO is fine. Fortnite might work. AAA titles? Probably not. But it should run at 60fps on a 144Hz display, and most use free sync so issues shouldn’t occur.

You'd likely require a 2060 KO, a 5600 XT, and a significantly larger power source. This particular model from Seasonic is available here: https://www.newegg.com/seasonic-s12iii-b...ption=550w power supply&cm_re=550w_power_supply-_-17-151-227-_-Product

The display operates smoothly at 144Hz, yet your computer struggles to hit 144 frames per second in most titles. This doesn’t indicate a problem with the screen—it functions, though at a reduced speed to align with your PC’s capabilities.

144Hz isn't ideal, but it could exceed 100 in CS:GO

You’d need to upgrade your graphics card, ensure your CPU supports higher clock speeds, and possibly replace or update your motherboard if it’s outdated. Also, check RAM compatibility and consider a better power supply.

You're looking for games that involve hitting targets—maybe around 5700 or 1660TI. Others can suggest alternatives. I'd probably check YouTube for tutorials showing how to place the right shots.
