Ignoring the CPU, I'm also using a 270X with 2GB RAM. It handles 45+ FPS smoothly on high and medium settings, no AA or Hairworks needed. The 4790k boosts performance significantly.

Everything seems okay for medium to high performance, except the CPU. Try a different way to get the game, see if it works (and that’s it), and if it does then buy it.
