PC speed caps around 570~mbps. Same cable on laptop worked fine up to 800-900 mbps. Used a Buitrea 2.5 Gbps controller with Realtek chip, installed drivers but still no improvement. Switching to auto speed settings at 2.5Gbps didn’t reach the desired 800-900 mbps. My Gigabyte A320M-S2H supports up to 1000mbps according to specs. Checked BIOS for any Ethernet connection changes, but nothing relevant found. Any suggestions on fixing this?

It seems a network enhancement or speed optimization tool is active, possibly related to Gigabyte's QoS settings for gaming purposes.

This information suggests the motherboard may have Realtek GBE LAN and CFOSS Internet Accelerator software installed. It’s possible this could be contributing to the problem.

Consider removing cfosspeed to check for improvements.

Check it out, maybe the problem isn’t there yet. I don’t have the board or CPU installed, which could be the reason. Since I’ve used it for over three years already, the chances are the issue should be fixed now. Thanks for your help!
