You should consider updating the BIOS before installing the CPU. Installing the CPU first might not guarantee a successful boot, so a QFlash update is safer.

The BIOS may require an update prior to using the CPU. After checking PCpartpicker for the 7950X3D, it appears ready to proceed.

The BIOS updates since launch do improve a lot of compatibility for RAM and PCIE devices. Probably not a bad idea. As long as the motherboard manual doesn’t suggest POSTing prior to any BIOS updates, I’d say it’s a good idea.

No, it doesn't necessarily mean there will be an issue.

It seems they haven't done anything yet. They probably plan to add it soon. The value 7800X3D is relatively recent.

People are suggesting the upgrade works with the latest BIOS. Aorus seems to be being inconsistent with the chart. I'm running QFLASH to F5A to check support details at the link provided. Regarding drivers, you might still need some AMD-specific ones after Windows loads.

Could you check the chipset drivers? It wouldn’t hurt to confirm they’re current.

If your device has USB flashback issues, simply upgrade the board right after purchasing it. This avoids troubleshooting later. It only takes a few minutes and works well for new systems.
