Which ports are available on each drive? The second port isn’t compatible with SATA devices, which might explain the issue.

Occasionally b450 boards can disable SATA ports when a M.2 slot is filled. It’s possible that if the correct SATA port is already used, the M.2 port won’t activate. There might also be problems with the drive itself or your BIOS settings. The Sd code was appended to the end of the HDD code, which was then added to the floppy code—essentially a patch on top of another patch. Sometimes these layers fail.
