The system is not a NAS if it's Synology or QNAP, otherwise it's likely not.

Switches are inexpensive and the best method. Connecting your TV to the NAS means the Ethernet traffic only functions when the NAS is active. Bridging or routing seems outside the NAS's capabilities.
