I’m checking if you can set up dual monitors using just the motherboard ports. Since your sister’s PC uses an Intel integrated GPU and doesn’t have a dedicated GPU, connecting monitors via VGA or DVI might not work properly. The output ports on the motherboard are limited, and without a proper graphics card, displaying two monitors won’t function correctly. You’d need a dedicated GPU for that setup.

The integrated graphics support several monitors. You can link one to the VGA port. A DVI connection is possible, though it's usually DVI-D (digital only), meaning you can't directly connect a second VGA monitor via a DVI adapter. For a second digital monitor, use an input like DVI or HDMI—passive adapters or cables work. Some systems let you turn multiple monitors on in BIOS, but it might be turned off by default (no clear reason).

when the motherboard offers several ports, you're good to go. most boards provide at least two types of connections (vga, hdmi, dvdi). use a converter if the port doesn't match your monitor.
