I'm preparing a significant upgrade and checked the link you shared. It looks like the case uses RGB front fans, but the motherboard doesn’t have any RGB headers. Can I still use those fans inside the case? The product includes an RGB hub, but I’m not sure if it works with the motherboard. Since the board is an ASRock B365M-HDV Micro ATX LGA1151 and the case is an Asus TUF Gaming GT301, I want to avoid any issues and make sure I don’t attempt something that might fail.
Investigate the device you have and determine whether the RGB LEDs are managed by the motherboard or if a remote is provided with the package. Some controllers support remotes, while others do not.
I’d choose another configuration. This model includes an RGB hub and is mounted on the motherboard’s back. You can connect the aRGB headers from the fans to it, and then use the front panel button to manage the colors. I’m not sure if you need an Asus board with Aura Sync for this setup, or if just installing the Aura Sync program and linking the controller via USB would suffice. Still, these aren’t PMW fans, and at this cost I’d consider it too high.
The product comes without dedicated fans, but it’s compatible with Asus Aura boards thanks to its RGB headers. Since this board lacks those, it can still be managed via USB ports. Corsair options like Lighting Node Core and Commander Core/Pro offer SATA power and USB control through their software, using 5V ARGB instead of standard 12V. Their fans fit most cases and can be used in various configurations. Some adapters let Corsair controls work with non-Corsair gear, though adjustments may be needed. PirateDogTech might provide further details. If you prefer a simpler path, an Asus Aura-compatible board is ideal, or consider a case like the Corsair 4000X or Fractal Pop XL for added fans. Corsair’s setup gives flexibility with customization and expansion options.
My GF has the same case. It's a great case. The RGB controller can be controlled with either any of the 3 pin aRGB headers on motherboards OR it has some effects and colours built in that can be controlled with a button on the front. the controller itself has 6 normal aRGB headers on it three of which will be occupied by the front fans. So you'll even have room for three more aRGB fans (like for a tower cooler or AIO with the standard aRGB connector) This is a great review on it
