I’m considering dual-channel setup with your current RAM. Since you have two 8GB modules, they should work together in dual-channel mode, potentially boosting performance. However, the total capacity would be limited to around 16GB if both are active, but actual gains depend on your motherboard’s support and system configuration. The 4GB stick you have is fine for stability, but adding more RAM won’t necessarily prevent frame drops unless you’re pushing high-end games or demanding applications. Make sure your BIOS supports dual-channel and that the RAM sticks are properly seated.

It depends on what you need, but any 8GB 2400 series stick will work fine.
