You can transfer GTA V files to your SSD and load them directly from there. Uninstalling it isn’t necessary if you want to reinstall. You can buy it again through Steam whenever you wish.

After signing up, your games stay with you always. Just make sure to back them up and reinstall from there to avoid the lengthy download process.
