Then transfer it to another device? Since my friends' dad gave me a free copy of Witches 3 as a CD, but my PC lacks a DVD reader, the question is whether that works.

Maybe using PowerISO could help open the CD files and copy them to the USB drive. Just a thought—you'd still need the installer and all the associated files.
