Mostly RAM functions as intended across different platforms. A few exceptions exist, but if the stick is unbuffered and recent enough (about the past 7 years), it should work seamlessly on both AMD and Intel systems. Simply connect it to the new setup and it should operate fine.
Early DDR5 projects sometimes faced issues with certain PCBs not working well on AMD systems. Once Ryzen entered the market, production of those kits ceased, so if your build is from the last 7 years, it should function properly. Dual-rank kits generally perform well on AMD setups based on my overclocking experience with AM4 and AM5. It seems more likely the kit's age affects performance than its dual-rank status.
AMD really appreciates their dual-channel RAM setup. A single stick will significantly reduce performance. Make sure to set up the dual RAM properly if your new Mobo supports four channels—place the second and fourth sticks away from the CPU. If it only offers two, that’s ideal.
