I'm changing to a different motherboard, CPU, and GPU. I want to know if my previous RAM will still work. My new RAM is DDR4-3200, while my old one was DDR4-2400. Should my speeds be capped at 2400 to maintain compatibility, or can I still use the older sticks?

Yes, there are limitations. However, if you're using a Ryzen chip, it might not help your situation.

You can also boost your 2400mhz RAM up to about 2666, which is generally fine. Feel free to test it out for free to check how it performs, and only invest if it doesn’t work.
