Recently my brother's old AIO PC experienced a hard drive failure. We were planning an update and intend to purchase a new machine soon. I'm uncertain if I can get an RTX 3050 as we had our expectations, and he really needs a PC quickly for his classes. Since it's easier to find a GPU in our region, I'm considering an Intel CPU instead of the Ryzen 5 3500X. I was told it won't support video output well, so an Intel CPU might work for online learning while we wait. TL;DR: I need a PC fast for classes, but GPU availability is uncertain. Can I still take online classes with an Intel CPU instead of a Ryzen one? What's the best Intel CPU to pair with a 3050, or should I look for something better?

Intel CPUs include integrated graphics, except for models with numbers ending in F.

For everyday tasks, a standard CPU with built-in graphics should suffice. As @Middcore noted, an Intel processor lacking a specific designation, like the core i5-12400, will function adequately. Likewise, any Ryzen chip with a 'G' suffix, such as the Ryzen 5 5600G, is compatible. Which country are you purchasing from?

I'm buying from the Philippines where most the GPU apocalypse isn't nearly as bad as it is in the west. I'm personally using an R7 5700G the past few months while waiting for a discrete GPU which I can't exactly do with this build since he'd have this own GPU as well by the end of the month.

consider trying a similar setup like this: https://ph.pcpartpicker.com/list/gf9hPX or an AMD model such as https://ph.pcpartpicker.com/list/d4r7QD. Both would work nicely with DDR4 3200.
