In theory, if a USB device was sufficiently fast and storage capacity was ample—such as with robust school computers—the idea of storing a large game and playing it instantly on the same computer seems plausible.

A USB 3 device with 20-40MB/s would suffice for. xD, the speed mainly affects loading times.
