I purchased MB with this feature, so I was curious about restoring BIOS if a power outage interrupts the update. Yes, Q-Flash Plus is designed to help recover BIOS in such situations.

In theory it's possible. In real life it varies, but the two times I needed to do this (due to mistakes like updating BIOS in a storm and using an extremely shaky overclock setting) it succeeded.

Can you get back your BIOS using Q-Flash? I saw some online reports suggesting it’s not a guaranteed success, but if it only has a 1 in 10 chance of working, I’m okay with that. My previous system failed due to BIOS issues, so I’d prefer not to face more stress knowing there’s a chance to recover it.

Sure thing. It seems to work fairly well, maybe about 80% of the time. I don’t have exact figures, so it’s just an estimate.

Flash provides a way to check the BIOS status, indicating issues like incompatible CPUs or corruption. Since most USB flash drives lack an activity display, users often think the process has taken a long time—typically over 15 minutes. Some Gigabyte boards feature a Q Flash indicator to show completion. Q Flash isn’t intended for BIOS updates when everything runs smoothly; for such tasks, use the built-in BIOS interface that shows progress directly on your screen.

Sure, I intend to apply the latest BIOS updates within my system. Previously, my Tomahawk device failed due to a BIOS issue, so I want to ensure this doesn't happen again.
