Hello, on your Go EliteBook 840 G6 you found a separate USB port with a cable linking it to the motherboard. You're wondering if you can replace it with a USB-C and if anyone has shared resources for that.

I assume that's a HP proprietary part. Unless they made one with a USB Type-C connector, you're unlikely to find such a replacement. All you'd likely accomplish is changing the port itself, the USB generation would stay the same.
