I’m not familiar with that particular ad, but many reputable sellers on eBay offer genuine Windows 10 copies at reasonable prices. If the reviews are positive, it’s worth considering.

The free upgrade process seemed to stop officially, but the April patch brought changes. To avoid repeated downloads, I created a Win10 USB stick for updating local systems. I mistakenly installed it on a Windows 7 machine, which then appeared as an activated Win10 install. This situation didn’t come with any guarantees.

Yes, purchasing from a seller with positive reviews works well. Check for payment options like PayPal to stay safer.

Many people think you need a license to install or change Windows 10, but it's possible to download and use it without one. The customization options will remain restricted, though the system will still function.

It's an OEM key designed to function similarly across all Windows editions. The main variation lies in restrictions, such as being unable to contact Microsoft phone support. For more details, a quick search should clarify the specific differences.

You can use a Windows 7 activation tool to get Windows 10 working smoothly. While upgrading my brother's computer, I couldn't locate the original activation key, so I entered a Windows 7 code from my old laptop and it activated instantly. Microsoft doesn't really focus on how you activate Windows 10—they earn most of their revenue by collecting user data!

Noticing that Windows 10 appears as the most affordable option on the PC part picker site... I’d choose it right away.

You might find options to obtain Windows 7 at a lower cost and continue using it. Older versions like W10 are considered outdated.
