You just received a free PC—Amd 3-core, 3.2GHz CPU, 4GB RAM, paired with a spare 1050Ti and SSD. It should handle most games on Windows 10 or 7 fairly well. If you're considering sharing or selling, it looks capable enough.

The actual CPU being utilized depends more on performance needs than raw RAM capacity.

However, the processors running DDR2 aren't particularly fast, which affects performance more than the RAM itself.

4GB of RAM works well for most games, but don’t expect top-tier performance with AAA titles. The main issue is likely the AMD tri-core CPU, which will be your biggest limitation. A 1050 Ti should let you run most games at 1080p60 if you keep settings low, though older games from the past five years may still struggle on it.

Sure you can run games even on DDR RAM, especially for titles like Tetris and Chess. They don’t require much power afterward.

The processor will determine the performance in this situation, not the DDR2 RAM. Regarding memory, having sufficient capacity matters more. Without further details about the CPU or gaming needs, it's difficult to assess its value. A triple-core processor likely won't deliver strong mainstream gaming results over the past few years.

It's limited to older titles and simple modern games like Cuphead or Bioshock Infinite. The issue isn't just RAM, but the outdated CPUs paired with that RAM that feel slow now.

You're all set to play. Just make sure you understand what you mean by "gaming."
