You’re going to dislike me. I had to use this to run my Vive because it claims to be "VR Ready." It would have been much better than dragging my desktop from my bedroom to my living room. I checked some online videos and they say it works, but wow, that was the worst experience ever.

I just wanted to share some updates. My laptop is actually running GTA V smoothly now. The Vive performance was disappointing, but I figured it out. After downloading and installing GTA V once, then deleting it and mounting a network drive, I linked the Steam library and ran it again. It loaded slower initially and had an error when trying to connect online, likely due to porting my previous session. But after the second run, everything worked. I’m now moving files to my internet-accessible drive and plan to switch the Steam library there. Tomorrow I’ll test if it can run from outside my home network.
