I have a Gigabyte M61PME-S2 motherboard with an overclockable CPU, but I'm unsure if I can overclock it right now. Could anyone confirm if it's possible?
You might be able to... but I wouldn't. Initially, the board isn't built for the demands of OC'ing because it lacks heat sinks on the VRMs and solid caps. The weak power phase also limits progress significantly. Second, the board is quite outdated, and those parts are only lucky to run at their original speeds.
