I'm setting up a Windows 10 installation for a friend and need the MSI icon to show during startup. I think this is related to UEFI settings, but if I install Windows in UEFI on my machine, will it also appear on his system? Thanks.

Yes, it should function properly if you set up the installation correctly in UEFI mode on both machines and boot the same device from UEFI.

If his setup uses UEFI, it works. However, without UEFI, you can apply it in legacy mode—it will function, though the MSI logo won’t appear.
