I noticed you can purchase Windows 7 OEM units without the included CD, and they’re cheaper than the regular retail price. Can you install Windows 7 on a brand-new PC without using the CD?

Sure, just need a flash drive. There are many online guides explaining the process. It's quite straightforward.

With an ISO of Windows 7, you can simply transfer the files to a USB drive and it will be recognized and installed properly.

Just to confirm, I saved the ISO file and completed all the necessary steps. Then connected the USB drive to my PC, followed the instructions, and entered the Windows key code I purchased.

If the Windows 7 download utility fails, consider using Rufus as an alternative to create a bootable USB drive. I experienced inconsistent results with the Windows 7 tool versus Rufus, so I opted for Rufus instead.
