Hello. I remember playing Minecraft on a friend's computer and using the mobile version on my phone. I was considering buying the PC edition but noticed it costs $27. On the official site, it’s priced at $27. I’ve bought all my games through Steam. I’m based in India, and the platform adjusts prices based on local purchasing power and currency value. On average, I spend about $2.5 per game. Even without discounts, The Witcher 3 brings in around 1000 Indian Rupees, which is roughly $15. That’s less than a third of the US price for the same game ($50). In India, you’d get 33,600ml bottles of coke for just $15—similar to what $50 would buy in the US (33 bottles). Thanks to Steam deals, I’ve never exceeded $9 per game. The most expensive title I’ve owned was Tales from the Borderlands at 619 rupees ($9), bought at full price. Since Minecraft is $27, it’s about three times more than my highest purchase. This is why I’m hoping to get a legal copy of Minecraft on PC at a reasonable cost. I’d appreciate any help you can offer. I believe the game would be a great find, but its value seems low compared to Steam’s pricing in India, where I could easily afford four copies of CS:GO or three copies of Rocket League for the same amount. Also, I’m using Windows 8.1, so I’m not interested in the newer Windows 10 version. Best regards, Aereldor.
