They're curious about adding controller compatibility to the ME series on PC. They're aware that button layouts and gaming habits differ from their current experience, especially since they mostly play without a controller. They're looking for resources or downloads to enable 360/Xbox One support for the PC versions.
It would be helpful to get used to a KB+M controller. I know controllers perform well in certain games, but for shooters it’s best to start early. Also, using a keyboard for tactical tasks in Mass Effect is a lot more convenient for me.
I really enjoy Origin, but the way they market the Mass Effect DLC feels terrible. It never gets discounted and there’s a huge amount (which I already own for the Xbox versions). I just can’t justify spending more, and playing the games without it doesn’t make sense at all.
The PC edition lacks native controller integration. That shouldn't be an issue.
I purchased just the initial title since free DLC is available. Mass Effect 2 offers numerous expansions that shape the experience, but a full set remains out of reach. Even the three-part collection includes only a handful of items. This situation stems from Bioware's reluctance to abandon their points-based system.
I know KB+M is actually superior, though I’m not getting used to the KB section. I’m okay with the mouse being more precise, but for certain games I still favor controllers.
It looks like Bioware isn't providing much effort on PC releases for their titles.
