You're looking to free up space on your SSD by removing these system files. Since both pagefile.sys and hiberfil.sys together use up 14GB, deleting them would free 14GB. With a 250GB drive, that leaves you with 236GB available for other files or partitions.

From what I understand, hiberfil.sys is related to hibernation settings. If you don’t enable hibernation, there’s a risk the file could be removed, though it’s not the same as your pagefile swap. Make sure you have a pagefile available (virtual memory) at all times, unless you have an unusually large amount of RAM that remains unused.

Move to Windows settings—can't simply delete those files. You must shut down the apps that require them. Use hiberfil to exit sleep mode as an administrator. Open Command Prompt, type powercfg.exe /hibernate off and set the page file to 512MB.
