Consider if the cost is worth it compared to other options like upgrading your GPU. And remember, the PSU is important too!

If you're planning an upgrade, I'd go ahead and purchase it regardless. I've noticed it performs well even with just 4GB of RAM. Check out performance reviews for GTA 5 using different RAM amounts—there are plenty of videos available. You might want to keep an eye on it when it goes on sale.

I’d prefer to improve my system first, yet I’d rather have an i9 without games than an i5 packed with everything I want. I just enjoy upgrading my PC more than playing games...

You could simply enhance your hardware and see if that improves performance.

PUBG is in a steady state, with regular play almost every day.

I’m holding off on purchasing it since I don’t own a PC yet—I only have a laptop and sold my belongings instead of keeping them idle. Now I’ve landed a new job, which gives me the money to buy something better. Laptops aren’t my style; I really need at least two monitors for any work. If you respond, I’ll probably pass on it because I think I’ve already taken over this post.

From someone using a GTX 460, you should be okay on medium settings at 1080p. A 610 works fine for that.
