I'm using a Razer Blade 15 Advanced. I'm trying to figure out if it's feasible, as I'm not very familiar with computers. I don't have a monitor, so I need to connect to another computer. I can see an HDMI port, but I'd prefer expert advice instead of guessing. Thanks! -PR

You can turn on remote connection on the second machine, and simply use your laptop to access it. That's the simplest option.

Consider using a capture device. I haven't tried any inexpensive ones, but it could help. https://www.amazon.com/Capture-Streaming...C94&sr=8-4 only if it is turned on, on the desktop.

HDMI is designed as an output port, not an input. You can't insert a card into it and use it elsewhere. While some laptops allow external GPUs, they typically require a separate display not linked to another machine. Unless you're running software, connecting your computer directly to the laptop as a dedicated screen isn't possible.

It seems a bit tricky. A sharp-edge blade setup works well for laptops. Taking the screen off your laptop and connecting it to a computer involves some technical steps—lots of cables and tiny tools. If something fails, you might end up with two computers without screens. You could also try connecting it to a TV. Amazon sells cheap monitors for around fifty dollars, and Goodwill might have them at even lower prices. These are likely newer models, not the large glass screens you’re used to.
