Hey again, quick update Bought a second hand router and installed openwrt. Changed the router's IP to 192.168.2.1., connected it to landlords AP with the 5GHz radio (in client mode) and made a Wlan with the 2.4GHz radio (master mode) with a custom ssid and password. Everything seems to be working perfectly and game streaming through steam works much better now. I'm a little confused as to what firewall and masquerade settings to use however. I wanna set up a smb share on the new LAN. Am I correct in thinking that the share would be accessible to only to the devices connected to my openwrt router and not to the those directly connected to the landlord AP? These are the settings (I think?):

Bringing me back to the era before high-speed internet. I settled into an online group solely for a 10Mbit connection using their OC3 (155Mbit).
It appears the configuration isn’t set up correctly yet. Your router is acting as a bridge instead of routing between the networks. Make sure both networks use distinct subnets, which confirms you’re on separate networks.
