I'm trying to figure out why I'm asking this question. My setup includes a Ryzen 5 3600 and an x570 motherboard that I'm returning for repair, possibly because a riser card is affecting both my PCIe slots and the GPU connections. When I power on, I see no screen and am unsure if Windows loads at all. Using HDMI didn't work, but after uninstalling drivers with DDU, I could access Windows via the HDMI output after rebooting. I'm worried about whether this issue is related to the damage and if it might impact the HDMI port as well. Generally, without integrated graphics, I was hesitant to buy a CPU for this reason, but now I'm unsure what options are available.

This device lacks built-in graphics, meaning visuals won't appear unless you have the right video ports.

APUs perform better on the CPU side, so it’s smarter to stick with the 3600 and opt for the cheapest card like a GT 710. Keep it as a backup only for video output. Avoid overcomplicating things—don’t waste effort on those f**** annoying PCI-E risers everyone’s talking about. Graphics cards should sit flat in a PCI-E slot.

It seems like the setup is working fine so far :' The sag is genuine. I wasn't anticipating a riser cable hurting my PCIe slots—especially both of them—which is quite unexpected. All else stayed the same except for flipping the GPU orientation. It happened during a live stream from my Plex server. I hope MSI can get me a replacement board soon. Maybe I'll go with a 3000G just in case I need a backup APU Tongue
