Windows insider builds are indeed free to use without a license key. You can install them on your new PC without purchasing any software.

It's partially accurate, as insiders typically don't possess a license key on their computer. But you still require an enabled Windows version to access insider builds.

According to Luke, the situation is complex and not worth the effort. Licenses can be obtained affordably online.

You won't be able to just download an insider build ISO and install it directly. A key is still required for activation.

You're facing restrictions, but I can help you understand the situation. Activating Windows without a license key isn't possible, so using an unactivated version isn't an option. Would you like guidance on alternative ways to access Windows?

I understand you're considering purchasing Windows at full retail price. It's worth noting that buying it legally might be a better option if you're looking to save money.

You can connect it, but activating your Windows is still required. The insider build may be quite inconsistent, even during beta testing.
