If I installed windows 10 on a computer with an iso on a dvd/flash drive and the computer had no wifi card in it/never connected it to any network not even for one second, and I never activated windows, and installed programs on that pc with a flash drive, would it work indefinitely? I know I wouldn't be able to change the background and stuff, but I don't really care about that as long as programs would run.

I understand it should function online, but without an internet connection it won’t shut down since I won’t send it a signal to return home.

I have numerous backup versions of various builds from the past and I’m gathering games that work offline. Would Microsoft ever alter this? Would they try to harm your computer somehow, hehe?

Without network connection, there would be no method to update the system or launch attacks on the computer.

They could target your machine by exploiting its offline state, possibly disabling features or intercepting data. To prevent this, ensure updates are enabled and configured correctly from the start.
