Who's getting this deal for the short window (Tuesday 3:2 - Sunday 8:2)? Preload is ready by Monday and it should exceed 10GB. Excited, what do you think?

Battlefield Hardline is a humorous piece. I think most people in the forum—including myself—would likely ignore it entirely.

Worth a shot, I mean it is a free open beta so I don't see why not

You can rely on general trends and patterns from similar games or contexts to form an educated guess, even without direct experience with the updated version.

I understand they don't revert to the original ideas and they're experimenting with something fresh that could frustrate many fans of BF3 and 4. I haven't played Alpha last year. Just a few times ago I didn't realize EA actually runs open beta. Everyone should try it out when we're sure, unlike Rockstar.

They swapped it for something distinct that echoes Rush. Jackfrags mentioned it was enjoyable. You’ll need to test it yourself. Personally, I’ve always preferred a battlefield with fewer distractions—just enough action to maintain the challenge. I believe the game isn’t clever or exceptional; it seems EA and DICE are taking chances. Still, I’m optimistic it’ll work out. In short, don’t assume it’s another Battlefield title you’ve grown fond of. You’ll need to see it in a different light. It feels like a brand-new FPS series.

I think the BF4 mode choices are a bit too much. After going through all the details, I’m still not sure what’s really different between them. They mention three game modes, but it seems like this might just be for the closed beta phase or something before the DLCs are released. For now, it’s enough for me.

It's true, JackFrags shared an excellent video on the topic.
