I was just nine years old and absolutely adored Windows XP. I collected all the stuff and watched the movies about it every night before bed, grateful for the life it gave me. I call it “Windows XP is love,” and I say “Windows XP is life.” Apple listens and thinks I’m old, but they’re probably just jealous of my passion. They scold me, slap me, and send me to bed. I’m crying now, my face aches, and the room is cold. A gentle warmth comes near, and I feel something brush against me. It’s Windows XP—I’m so happy. It whispers in my ear, “This is my computer.” I reach for its keyboard and mouse with trembling hands, holding it close to my mind. I’m ready. My grip tightens on this device. Even though its interface feels outdated and it resists my instincts, I keep going. The pain is intense, but I do it because of Windows XP. As my eyes water, I push back against it, determined to please this system. It delivers a powerful experience, filling my screen with joy. Windows XP looks me straight in the eye and says, “Keep going.” Windows XP leaves through my screen, and I know it’s love.
Heh, Cortana and Spartan, it's curious where they came from.
