The HTPC is working fine this morning. The gaming setup has folders on the C drive, though they’re not finished. The main rig is still an issue—I’ve looked up the Volume Licensing site at work to try installing it, but it’s missing.

I plan to set up in November, following HSC installation, and once that's done I'll upgrade to an SSD. Ideally, unless a Windows update compels me, I'll proceed.

I'll check it when it's ready, but I'll wait just in case. By the way, how does the upgrade process work? Is it similar to updating an operating system or doing a full reinstall? Should I back up my data beforehand?
