Fun fact, while cleaning my PC today, I was surprised to find tiny dead flies on the GPU pins. At first I thought they were bent, but closer inspection revealed they were just insects that had fallen off. I removed them and everything worked fine after vacuuming. If you hadn't noticed them and simply reinserted the GPU, could it have caused a short circuit? Have anyone else experienced similar issues with bugs in electronics?

they might lead to short circuits, but it's hard to say how common that is. regarding issues with my computer, I occasionally see spiders if I don't clean regularly. so far, no other problems have appeared (hopefully).

I wasn't sure what I was seeing, but I doubt aphids are good conductors. Yet, I wonder how they ended up there originally.

Seems like the exterior of the vehicle after night driving. I've encountered many issues inside computers too. Definitely bugs, lots of them. Have seen a lot of those. But I haven't broken a computer with a dead bug either—things can go wrong.

I was searching for a scientific classification: Empoasca Kraemeri (commonly known as cigarrinha verde). They’re quite small but can be bothersome, especially after mowing the lawn. In my situation, there were no PC covers, so they likely entered through gaps. My thought is they got drawn into the fans and became stuck until I cleared them out.
