I was considering my Hackintosh setup and wondered if there were options for adding a Mac startup sound. You're looking for a dedicated board with a speaker connected to the power button that plays a short .wav file when activated. This feature doesn't seem widely available, but some enthusiasts have built custom solutions using audio interfaces or external speakers controlled via switches. It might be possible depending on your hardware preferences and budget.

It seems your iPhone shut down the keyboard, and you accidentally pressed the post button. Haha!

On Windows, system sounds are adjustable and it's likely a Hackintosh could offer comparable options.

it's simply a personalized computer running mac osx. (i'll check the system later) EDIT: using pirated osx makes it appear as illegal activity, which violates the forum guidelines.

Find a WAV or MP3 decoder circuit. Affordable options are available at the local store. Add a tiny switch to start playing audio when the power button is pressed, or pair it with a microcontroller for integration.
