I have two screens linked to my computer, and like others with multiple monitors I often struggle to remember which screen my mouse pointer is on. I’m searching for a tool that can automatically center your mouse cursor on the main screen after a period of inactivity. I’m not sure if such a program exists, but if it does, where can I find it? Sometimes I lose track of the display quickly, and I waste time shifting my mouse around to locate it. EDIT: The Windows Mouse Control feature isn’t what I’m after.

There is a mouse feature in Windows that lets you press Ctrl while a big circle appears near your cursor's location.

Windows includes...a feature that lets you keep a mouse button pressed for tracking.

Navigate to the control panel, then move to mouse settings. There’s an option where you activate the Ctrl key and it displays a wave-like movement indicating your cursor position.

That's unrealistic. Honestly, I wouldn't prefer having the mouse pointer automatically shift to the center of my screen while it's not in use. That way I'd always know exactly where it was when I returned to my PC.

Update the view. Probably nothing like that exists.

The picture wasn't visible. It would be great if a person skilled in creating basic code could fix it. I could try, but I'm not a programmer.

When that occurs, shift the cursor in one direction—such as toward the top right—keeping it there continuously. Observe that corner of your screen for any indication.
