I don’t really focus on tech details, but hearing those figures feels irrelevant to me. I have $20 invested in my setup after three years, and now I’m thinking about what’s next. Should I try upgrading this rig or wait until a new build comes out? I mostly enjoy grand strategy games like EU4 and farming sims such as Farming Sim and The Hunter/The Hunter: Call Of The Wild. Right now, the system can handle the best performance it can, but I’m hoping to upgrade soon so I’ll be ready for EU5 in about a year when it’s available. Way of The Hunter isn’t running on it yet.

I’d really prefer a brand new PC. The CPU is already 11 years old and won’t handle modern gaming well. I don’t know your graphics card, but given the system’s age, it’s likely outdated too. Any upgrade to the motherboard’s processor will probably be just as old. You can set a budget under “New builds” and many experienced builders on this forum have lists of components you could review yourself. If you need assistance, feel free to post here and I’ll help.
