so i have been experimenting with my second 7800x3d and asus rog crosshair x670e gene for about a month now! (what happened with the first one? it was faulty and died after 3 days...) what i have accomplished: 1) highest my cpu will go, is with bclk oc, got 5.15Ghz all core, 5.4 single core in cinebench, with multicore score of over 19k, but i dont think i could run it 24/7 2) what i run now, 24/7: 65W eco mode with UV, from -39 to -42 on the cores. i still get a little over 18k in cinebench so the performance is still there. memory: i have a gskill 6600mt/s hynix a-die 32gb kit, the highest i got it was 7400mt/s with 36-40-40-105 timings @ 1.5V. my first cpu's fclk could go to 2133mhz, so i could run 6400mt/s memory, but my current cpu gets black screen flashes at 2133mhz so can only do 2066mhz with 6200 mt/s 28-32-32-96 @1.4V quick question: are these results good for a 7800x3d? i know the infinity fabric is not the fastest but the cpu cores seem pretty good to me. (in case anyone doubts my UV, I know most am5 motherboards only go to -20 or -30, but my rog crosshair goes to -50)
