These brief frame time spikes seem uncommon but not unusual. They likely don’t impact your gameplay noticeably unless you enable additional monitoring tools.

Game runs perfectly at first load, showing exactly what you see. As it progresses, details shift—near objects like walls, then distant elements such as trees. Frequent texture updates, ambient lighting effects, and light paths are handled smoothly.

They are considered abnormal when their frequency exceeds normal ranges and their size surpasses typical limits. The exact thresholds depend on the specific measurement, but generally, deviations beyond established norms trigger concern.

Not sure about tracking them. From what I see, you're aiming to spot problems. Yes, treat it as monitoring when it affects your experience or breaks your focus—then it counts as an issue for me.

You're correct, I tend to become overly cautious after getting a new PC, so I monitor everything. It would be better to unwind and focus on enjoying the game instead of constantly checking.

Absolutely, performance checks are perfectly okay. I tested the 7800X3D after swapping in the 7700X with a few games to see how it performed. Once it was running, just let it go. You'll quickly spot any issues and troubleshoot them. It's definitely Alan Wake 2—hardcore FPS game, but you're doing great!
