Recently I've experienced frame drops and stutters while gaming (all titles), initially I didn't give much importance but they increased over time. I tried some simple fixes like checking DDU, verifying game files, and clearing cache—no improvement. Then I reinstalled Windows, updated BOIS, and reconnected my PSU connections in the hope it would resolve the problem, but it continues. I've gone through every basic step I could think of without success. It seems there might be a hardware issue. The main symptom is heavy stuttering in games. For example, I can play Rocket League, Fortnite, and Kovaaks at 360fps 1080p low settings without overheating since mid-last year, yet recently I face huge screen freezes lasting almost a second before returning to 360fps. EDIT; this occurs across all FPS settings—it could be set to 120fps and still freeze DxDiag.txt

Check your temperatures during high and low usage. Your HWInfo image shows the CPU is throttling and getting hot. Does it reach 100°C at idle or during gaming? With a good cooler, it shouldn’t be near that temperature either. If you’re doing heavy stress tests or simulations, that’s more likely the cause. Please let me know what triggered the spike so we can troubleshoot.

100c was present during my synthetic stress test, which reached peaks of 60-70 while I played. Please note the 360mm AIO setup.
