Hey! I had a similar situation when I wanted to upgrade my build. I received everything quickly and the assembly went smoothly until I tried to fit the GPU. From the photo, the PCIe slot is at the bottom, and my case doesn’t have enough space because of a missing cutout. Since I’m using the Thermaltake Core V1 Mini-ITX, a vertical mount isn’t possible without modifying the case (which would be a last resort). My main concern is whether I can install the GPU in the upper slot or use an adapter to keep the bigger slot’s speed. I’m stuck and haven’t found a solution online, and my budget doesn’t allow for a new case or motherboard. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Looking for a single slot GPU? Otherwise you'll need a case that supports just one. Do you have another $50 to $100 available?

There are no issues with employing a riser cable or altering the case.

One of those extremely slim 1070/2060 models could work, though it will be tight and the fans might rub against the case. Identify the cable positioned above the slot; with a bit of creative cable arrangement you might manage to fit a slightly larger card. https://www.galax.com/en/graphics-card/1...atana.html

Looking for a mod suitable for a powerful GPU without compromising quality? I'm trying to figure out how to achieve that balance.

It seems they're questioning how someone would find out without a PC nearby. Haha!

Choose the correct case to ensure compatibility with your GPU. Other options may be costlier or need you to remove parts from your setup.
