So I don't know why my activation pane in settings is all screwed up due to update I think and my windows isn't active anymore. I can't seem to re-enter my key either. Is there a way to reset all that to zero without having to reinstall windows?

I'm assuming this is a legal copy of windows. Just rerunning the windows activation software to verify ID online should get you up and going fine again.
