Hey, the visual style matches quite a bit with this game, seems enjoyable. The main concern is it's from EA/DICE. I'm curious if anyone has tried the PC version before—does it feel similar to BF4? I haven't seen a detailed review yet, but so far the servers seem solid and bugs are minimal. Thanks! Also, feel free to share your thoughts.

I really hope so. It seems a bit exciting. Also, I hope EA speeds things up and makes Plants vs Zombies 2 available for free on PC, just like they did for iOS and Android.

I personally find it terrible, but that's my opinion...

It's the PopCap title, not DICE. I'm unsure about purchasing it. I usually enjoy PopCap games, but EA has pushed them to a lower quality point. Similar to PvZ2 being P2W. It would work fine in its regular format, but since it's only available on mobile right now, EA believes it wouldn't perform well as a standard release. The same applies to Peggle 2, which is currently just for consoles.

My error, although it is the 'great' Frostbite engine though isn't it?

EA has essentially destroyed PopCap just like everyone else. PopCap was multi-platform, didn’t rely on IAPs and was enjoyable, whereas now we’re stuck with freemium models that feel exclusive to this platform. Garden Warfare is entertaining, but it still contains a lot of micro-transactions.

I've bought it and have played a few good hours. Can confirm it's very fun and a great game. Port wise, it's rock-solid and well optimized. Basically the stark opposite of BF4. I haven't even had a bug in my 5 or so hours. No reservations when recommending it.
