Searching for USB-C 10GbE cards and Z390 mATX boards that support 10GbE internally. Currently using a SPF+ PCIe card, but it might block GPU cooling in the case I’m planning to upgrade.

Discovered a listing on Amazon for a Thunderbolt 10GB Ethernet adapter. It claims compatibility with USB Type C devices, though most available adapters only support 1 Gbps.

Sonnet supports both RJ45 and SFP+ interfaces. The price is higher, but users report good performance.

The 5Gbit connection via USB-C appears very rare, and it seems challenging to find. https://amzn.to/2Xu6VHG As noted, I believe 10Gbit hasn<|pad|>, unless it's tied to Thunderbolt, since power delivery would be necessary and USB-C is more widely used.

SPF+ works fine with my ISP, but I can also switch to 10GBASE-T over RJ45. The main issue is locating a mATX Z390 board that supports Thunderbolt.

It seems you're considering a PCIE extension to place your SPF card outside the case.
