Sure, glad you're catching on! I've gotten pretty comfortable with the original Xbox emulation. It's tough to connect old consoles to modern systems without tons of adapters, but it's worth it for the experience. Enjoy the different vibe!

No systems capable of running games exist yet—check out the projects in development. Nvidia made a mistake, resulting in numerous security flaws that let developers examine its firmware and internal structure. It’s also an established design, not demanding significant computational resources. This switch is unrelated to the Wii U; they are fundamentally different products.

I come from a time when hackers took pride in emulating older systems on modest hardware. Recently, people tried to reverse-engineer the Sega Saturn, a console nearly 25 years old with very little documentation. The PS4 boasts around 100-150 GFLOPS, while the Switch delivers 230-400 FLOPS, and many of these achievements depend on specific hardware—like the Wii, which got hacked only because leaked Chinese versions of its documentation surfaced online.

It wasn't a bad situation at all, since that's exactly how NaughtyDog helped Crush Bandicoot with the PSX project.

The first scenario involved a security flaw enabling exploits that regular game developers couldn't exploit. The second example shows a developer effectively utilizing the existing hardware.

Nintendo faced a couple of confirmed security issues, while Sony likely dealt with 2 or 3. Sega was nearly bankrupt trying to stop piracy on the Dreamcast, and people still invest heavily in these companies. I still miss those times when hackers took pride in creating accurate emulations with extra features.
