That's the goal, most players simply want to begin and have fun. However, this game demands a lot of research upfront before you can truly enjoy it.

However, when it seems simple to play, you’ll notice pros doing it. This game really demands deep study of mechanics, character traits, and tactics. You must consider which tanks work best in each class, how their strengths fit with different maps, and which spots on the map offer the best advantages for each type of tank. Understanding these elements is key to gaining the most benefit.

If you jump on it, watch out for this. Just overlook the individuals who complain the most in battle. Those are the typical ones, and they tend to be the toughest and most toxic. Newcomers and those below average stay quiet because they usually don’t understand what they’re doing. The skilled and experienced players remain calm as they express themselves through their abilities. The average players are the ones who often blame others or pretend to be commanders while actually contributing little to the team.

Earlier Wargaming developed an MMORPG, but later shifted to a new style using tanks as core elements, launching World of Tanks. You can explore their previous work before World of Tanks.

I previously played it (2013-15), but the game turned too repetitive for my taste. The powercreep also deteriorated after I stopped playing. It's unclear what's happening now. If you focus on lower tiers, you won't have to worry much about credits in the game. Once you reach tier 9, you'll almost always lose credits whether you win or not if you're playing for fun. There used to be a mod called XVM that would indicate who was strong or weak in your matches. You might want to install it if it's still available.

Played the game yesterday; many players were toxic. Probably won’t play anymore. Thanks!

You provided a heads-up, which is good. It seems you're dealing with some toxic behavior from certain players.
