He mentioned "World of Tanks" in his YouTube video about CPU cooling. It might be worth checking it out if you're curious.
I also tried, but honestly it’s pointless. It’s not just toxic—it has many more problems concerning game balance. There’s a discussion asking if he should come back or not. You can check other opinions here: http://forum.worldoftanks.asia/index.php...g-back-to/
I used to enjoy it too. It's a solid game, mainly focused on World of Warships, which is also from the same developer. WoT is an older title packed with repetitive downloads. Check out this latest video for a clearer view so you can decide if it's worth playing. https://youtu.be/M2vlumiKOh0
The classic tunes are back, and you might want to check out this channel if you're determined to keep playing. Quickybaby is another popular player known for his work in World of Tanks.
I previously played the game every day for free, but recently I stopped due to the rising pay-to-win mechanics.
I agree and enjoy it. However, if you tend to get very upset during gaming, skip this title. The balance of pay-to-play is unusual, and sometimes you lose regardless of skill since a premium tank exists or spam ammo is sent your way. While technically free premium ammo appears occasionally, you can't use it without spending in-game currency, and your currency will deplete quickly. I still receive some rounds of premium ammo for free, but not just premium ones like some players. The game becomes manageable if you grasp its mechanics. If you improve, you might even surpass those who rely solely on premium ammo, which feels rewarding. Still, if you're easily agitated by the game, it's best to leave it. By the way, the graphics have improved significantly since the last update; it looks much better now compared to when it was first released.
Look at my avatar.. It's one of the medals in World of Tanks, it's the "Crucial Contribution" medal as I really like World of Tanks. You still can be a good player without paying the game. Trust me.. I paid the game to get premium accounts and a few premium tanks when I was in the early game.. But now I'm against to pay the game. One of the best player who doesn't pay the game and never use premium ammo is "Taugrim", He's just amazing on how to win without using premium ammo.. He was claiming his "Unicum" rating at 13k battles. I'm at 11k battle and I'm still amateur T_T Since I subscribed his channel from last year till now, I never see any of his videos where he bring premium ammo. He just never bring premium ammo to the battle ever! You should learn from him if you want to be a free-to-play player.. Here is his channel, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUzj5q3..._NOCR709Ng
I don't agree with this. I favor "Skill4ltu" over "Quickybaby" for understanding gameplay and the reasoning behind choices in battles. This player has the highest number of 3 Marks of Excellence tanks globally! They focus on World of Tanks to accumulate every Mark of Excellence up to 100%. It's impressive to see their strategy and decision-making during combat, and "Taugrim" is an excellent choice for learning how to become a "Unicum" without relying on premium ammo or special features.
Not suggested – seems simple at first glance – intense grinding required – limited real guides (besides YouTube creators), it’s unclear for newcomers what works or fails. It’s free to start, but the challenge grows after tier 7, where costs rise significantly. Most players hide or camp, making survival risky; some tanks are overpowered at higher levels, leaving you defenseless.
